This And That

Gosh!

Hi guys!

Just a quick article to talk to you about one of my favourite bookshops in London: Gosh!

Gosh! is specializing in comics and graphic novels. Basically, in London, there are two famous bookshops specializing in comics and graphic novels (maybe they are simply the only ones? Hopefully not! Please let me know if you know any others!) : Gosh! and Orbital Comics. I did not have the chance to go to Orbital Comics very often so I couldn’t tell you much about it, but I am a big fan of Gosh! and I love going there just for the pleasure of browsing.

It is a very beautiful shop full of amazing books, which also sells super cool mugs inspired by the graphic novel/comic world. The ground floor is devoted to graphic novels while the basement is devoted to comics. On the graphic novel floor, you can find any graphic novel you’re looking for and also discover a lot of cool graphic novels you were not looking for, from autobiographical graphic novels to famous series (Locke & Key  for instance, although the volume 1 was out of stock when I went there last time!) to the booksellers’ very own favourites to some obscure independent zines/pamphlets/artistic graphic novels that will appeal to the most creatives of us (or not). What’s sure is that if you like graphic novels or comics, you won’t be disappointed in Gosh! And if you don’t know much about graphic novels but are tempted to discover this world, I think it is a very good place to start. It is not an intimidating nor a boring bookshop, you won’t feel overwhelmed and there is always the easy option to pick up a book from the central table, which overflows with accessible and fun books.

I’ll leave you with some pictures from this amazing bookshop! Please guys let me know about your favourite bookshops in London and outside London, especially if they’re specializing in or have a good selection of comics/graphic novels!
