The Arab of the Future is a series of graphic memoirs published by French cartoonist Riad Sattouf. I have just read the first volume (in French, as you can see in the picture, obviously!), A Childhood in the Middle East, 1978-1984, and really enjoyed it.
Today I would like to share with you the covers of the beautiful Vintage Russian Classics Series. This series consists of 6 Russian classics’ new editions, which were published in January 2017 by Vintage (for the 100th anniversary of the 1917 Russian Revolution).
I liked plenty of things in March so it was high time for my March Favourites post!
Freaks and Geeks (TV Series)
I have just come back from a 4 days trip to Copenhagen and I feel like telling you a bit about this wonderful city. This post is going to be in-between travel diary and city guide, and I hope it will make you feel like visiting Copenhagen and give you some useful tips and info if you’re planning to visit this city in the near future.
Staying in Copenhagen
The first thing I need to warn you about is how expensive this city is. If you are on a budget, Copenhagen is not the destination to go for. Apart from that, people in Copenhagen are quite welcoming and speak an amazing english so you will not be in any trouble to communicate with them.
Today I would like to tell you about 3 very short books (under 150 pages!) that I have recently read. I’m hoping that this article will be useful to those of you who don’t have much time to read and don’t dare starting a long book. These three books can be read in no time and are pretty good.
